I am a non-partisan public commentator on Canadian economic and social policy, appearing regularly on television, radio, and podcasts, in print, and before parliamentary and legislative committees. Prior to 2023, this typically amounted to 50+ appearances in a standard year and 100+ in an election year. Since 2023, I have reduced my own media presence while managing chronic illness, and have redirected that energy toward something I find equally meaningful: supporting historically marginalized scholars and advocates in building their own profiles as go-to expert sources. Below is a selection of my appearances, media coverage of my research, and my written commentary.
